Empowering girls with knowledge of their bodies
Sharing knowledge about the female body is an important step in reducing gender discrimination. In 2018, WRC began a pilot project on Menstruation Health Management with five primary schools in Siem Reap.
WRC provided counselling to 100 new clients in 2018
The need for WRC’s services continued to grow in 2018, with 100 new clients receiving 2-5 counseling sessions each, and other highlights from our 2018 annual report.

Recently WRC launched the first open learning event at school, raising awareness of gender based violence and preventing any form of violence in the family and community.
WRC Experiences Growth, Builds Capacity in 2016
For the Women’s Resource Center, 2016 was a pivotal year for growth that included expanded programs and services, an increased number of beneficiaries, broadened internal capacity, and new partnerships and strengthened existing partnerships with the business community and mission-related nonprofits.

Welcome to International Women’s month! Throughout March the Women’s Resource Center will be celebrating all women, hosting some fun events and working hard to raise funds!
Phanny's short-term goals and long-term success!
We are thrilled to report that Phanny is now managing her daily income and expenses and running a personal and business budget. Phanny said to us, “learning about saving, budgeting and how to track my income is really important for me as a small market seller.” Phanny learnt how to increase the value of her product and is now growing her own vegetables to sell at her stall, which has increased her profit margins!
Empower and educate 100 Cambodian girls and boys
One of the workshops the Women’s Resource Center (WRC) provides is the workshop we give at schools in local communities. We educate both girls and boys on topics such as Alcohol and Drug Awareness, Gender Equality & Equity and Domestic Violence as these are very current subjects in a life of a Cambodian.

I dream of becoming a midwife
With the knowledge I’m gaining from Women’s Resource Center, I can now better help my community. With my Green Gecko Project sister, I started a girl group called ‘Tnai Samrap Srey’. We talk to teenage girls about puberty…
